Brooklyn Museum Lion Dance

January 28, 2005

The lion dance team will be performing at the Beaux-Arts Court (3rd floor) at the Brooklyn Museum at 6:30pm.

January Testing and Seminars

Schedule Update

The Intermediate Tai Chi and the Meditation classes have switched. The intermediate class now preceeds the meditation class, starting at 7:00.

The Adult Beginner Kung Fu class on Saturday afternoon has been moved to 3:30. Open practice will now run from 2:00–3:00.

New Lion Dance Class

October 1, 2004

There will be a new class reserved for Lion Dance practice on Wednesdays at 7:00. The sparring class will begin at 7:45.

New Jersey Tournament Results

September 27, 2004

Several students competed in the Wong Fei Hung Northeastern All Kung Fu Championship over the weekend and won three 1st- and two 3rd-place medals in underbelt forms divisions. Congratulations to Ali, Dave, and Bill. Check back for pictures from the event.

Seattle Tournament Results

One of our students competed in the 2004 International Open Traditional Kung Fu Wushu Championship Tournament in Seattle and placed 1st and 3rd in underbelt forms divisions. Congratulations to Omar.

Wong Fei Hung Tournament

Details for the 2004 Wong Fei Hung Northeastern All Kung Fu Championship, hosted by the Yee’s Hung Ga family and held at Farleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey.

Remembering Sifu Chan Tai San
