Programs for children and adults, specializing in Hung Ga (a southern style of Chinese shaolin kung fu) and Yang Style Tai Chi Chu’an. Classes cover self-defense, sparring, lion dance, weapons and hand form training, chi gung, and meditation. Beginners welcome.

Who We Are

At the Brooklyn Branch of Yee’s Hung Ga, we have been teaching traditional Chinese martial arts in Park Slope for over 10 years. Our Hung Ga kung fu program has been developed by Master Frank Yee and Sifu Peter Berman Yee and is available for both children and adults of all skill levels. We also offer a Yang style Tai Chi Chuan program, taught by Simo Tzyann Hsu.

Where to Find Us

The school is located on Windsor Place (just off Seventh Avenue) in Park Slope. Please feel free to visit our school to see our training facilities, to observe a class, or to meet with Sifu or Simo to answer your questions and discuss your goals.

New Tai Chi class

November 14, 2007

Due to popular demand, we've added another beginner Tai Chi class on Thursday evenings from 6-7pm. This class will be held starting on 12/6/07.

Tournament Results

The Brooklyn branch had a great showing at the 2007 Wong Fei Hung Tournament. Simo took home 3 gold medals, her Tai Chi students won 3 golds, and our kung fu students won 2 golds and 3 bronze medals. Congrats to Simo, Jane, Rieko, Joey, and Frank.
